To what extent is it appropriate to recite hymns while traveling

The question of whether reciting hymns while traveling is appropriate is not addressed in religious scriptures. The reason: At the time the scriptures were created, the circumstances were quite unique. Morning hours were reserved for all types of worship, chanting, and reading. However, in today's fast-paced and demanding life, engage in religious activities whenever you find time.Everyone has this belief. But everyone is short on time. Therefore, the time available during travel can be utilized effectively by chanting the name mantra, chanting Soham, and reading Prakrit texts. If reading facilities are available on the train or bus, do so. This includes reading, meditating, contemplating, and chanting Prakrit texts.

Many people in large cities perform their Anhik daily while traveling. In this way, they memorize one or two Prakrit texts. There is no need to carry a book at that time. By developing this habit, there are no mistakes in remembering the name in the mind and in the body's movements during travel, and every task continues smoothly. Along with reciting and meditating on stotras while traveling, one can also chant the name mantra a certain number of times in their mind. How appropriate is reading stotras while traveling, despite wearing clothes and footwear?  The solution to such doubts is that just as purity and impurity are the nature of the body, chanting and contemplation are the nature of the mind. However, chanting or reciting hymns in your mind requires mental purity. For this, chant the following mantra:
ॐ अपवित्रः पवित्रो वा सर्वावस्थां गतोऽपि वा। यः स्मरेत्पुण्डरीकाक्षं स बाह्याभ्यान्तरो शुचिः ।।
