What does it mean for God to be pleased

Thoughtful people never use these two phrases: God being pleased or God being satisfied. These word usages are inherently ambiguous. When it is said, "God is pleased," some people believe it to be a momentary event. Behind the idea of God being pleased lies the concept of having a Sagun Darshan of God. But what is the need for Sagun Darshan? We should ask ourselves this question. For example, insisting on being able to see the driver of the vehicle we travel in is madness. When we develop devotion to God, life becomes divine, and God's presence is felt everywhere. Once this state is achieved, does the desire to see the four-armed idol have any meaning?

Because God is formless and formless, people of various religions and sects imagine His form and express it in words, mold it into an idol, or capture it in photographs. They limit it to a limited extent.  Due to the influence of this limited form on the mind, one sometimes experiences it in dreams or while awake. With such a vision in mind, some people practice penance. Even if this desire is fulfilled through constant dedication, their progress is likely to be slow. The reason is that their dream of seeing the Supreme Being remains unrealized. Therefore, the desire to see the divine in every object of the world, and beyond that, the Supreme Being contained in every atom, ceases to exist.
It would not be appropriate to limit devotion to God by asking God to be satisfied or pleased. The true meaning of life lies in worshipping God with the goal, "The whole world is my home."
